We got Wii...yipee

Finally, we are proud owners of a Wii. The look on Kevin's face when he saw that I came home from Walmart with a Wii was worth a million bucks. But you know what's worth more?? Watching Landon play!! He is going to better than me I'm sure:)

Anyway, I have lots of pictures that I want to post after this weekend of the Jackson's shower, Landon's new room, and my parents' recently finished cabin, so stay tuned.

53 days left until I feel complete again

Is anyone else counting down the return of The Office?!?!? We have been going crazy waiting to see what our beloved Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch employees are up to. I haven't missed any of the other shows that have been postponed due to the writer's strike, but I'm telling you if I don't get to see some more stunts from Michael pretty soon I may go crazy.

For those of you who aren't hooked and want to be, we recommend renting the previous seasons and watching them IN ORDER. If you aren't hooked after that well....humm....maybe you need to go see a therapist.

Liam's new hair cut AND Landon the next Monet?!?

Liam got a big boy hair cut. I think it is super cute, but it makes him look older which makes this momma get a little teary-eyed. He is talking so much now, we can't keep up with all of his words. He has a several two words phrases and this morning he actually said, "Mee out yoo say" (translation= Minnie out, you stay) Four words...I was in shock. Anyway, I have loved all the stages that my kids have gone through, but 18-24 months is my favorite(Liam will be 19 months next week). So he pretty much has me wrapped around his little finger. Everything he does is so cute. The way he brings me books, gives hugs and kisses, tries to sing Jesus loves me, I just can't get enough of him. I'm trying to cherish every moment!

So Landon loves to draw in case you can't tell. He draws on his magnadoodle and our computer (he has a program called KidPix--it's wonderful) most often b/c crayons and markers make little brother jealous and little brother wants to draw on everything!! Anyway, Landon is really impressing Kevin and I. One of our friends pointed out that the way he can make the tracks go under and around the trains he draws shows that he is able to communicate a spatial understanding that is far beyond 'his level'. Pretty cool. So Kevin and I are already planning our trip to Europe to show him some famous art work.....just kidding. But it is a dream of ours to go there! I think we will get him a kids painting set this summer and he and I will have some fun together.

Playmates

Something great has been going on here at the Staples house. Kevin and I have been doing less entertaining, entertaining children that is! Now, don't get me wrong we still drive plenty of trains, build many creations out of play dough, read many books, and answer more questions in one day that most people answer in a month...but in the last couple weeks the boys have decided to be playmates. I can't tell you how excited we are and what a blessing it is to watch them drive trains together, watch tv sitting right next to one another, build Lincoln log houses together, chase each other around the kitchen, toss balls back and forth, and the list goes on and on. Liam thinks that Landon is the coolest person ever and Landon has realized that little bro can actually be fun. We are breaking up a few fights over toys here and there, but they really do pretty awesome together. Landon is usually a good role model for Liam, especially when it comes to sharing and that is huge blessing since Liam cares way more about he sees Landon doing than anyone else. Toys are scattered from one end of the house to the other more than usual lately, but we are very okay with that. Anyway, here are some pictures of the boys from the last couple weeks. Enjoy!
